Only three more modules to go tonight to complete TEEX Cybersecurity 201. There is so much interesting information. It doesn’t have much to do with my degree plan, but I certainly can’t complain. It’s free college credit that I can test out of.
Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service is a member of the Texas A&M University System. They offer training for first responders, fire and rescue, law enforcement, economic and workforce development, and homeland security.
If you were pursuing an IT degree/career this would be much more valuable content. It’s very interesting to me, but not immediately useful in my career.
I continue to blow through the pretests without reading, but slow down for the content and particularly the Post-Tests. This will complete 4 of 6 credits of my free electives. I plan to use Cybersecurity 301 for my final 2 free elective credits. There many more interesting credits, but you simply can’t beat free and sort of easy.
